What a website audit is

A website audit is a thorough analysis of your site that shows why it does not reach better positions in Google and why visitors do not become customers. It checks more than whether the keywords are used correctly: it covers the whole site ecosystem, the technical state, the structure, the content, the conversion logic, the trust signals and the newest layer most people still do not check, visibility in artificial intelligence search.

The GrowlyLab audit scores five areas and brings them into one overall score, so you see at once where you stand and what to do first.

What the website audit shows

The audit scores the site across five areas and additionally checks AI search readiness. Each area gets a score from 0 to 100, and the overall score is calculated from them.

  • SEO. Whether Google finds you. Title, meta, headings, structured data, technical SEO and the places that keep you below competitors.

  • CRO (conversion). Whether the site turns visitors into customers. Calls to action, value proposition, price clarity, lead capture.

  • UX (user experience). Navigation, the mobile version, search, how visible the contacts are, how the page feels while it loads.

  • Trust. Reviews, guarantees, social proof, certificates, contacts. The more expensive the product, the more this matters.

  • Forms. Whether the forms work, whether they are clear, whether you are losing enquiries.

  • AI search readiness (AEO). Whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI can cite your content. We check llms.txt, robots.txt, semantic HTML and structured data.

The audit additionally reports the technologies it detects (platform, server, SSL), a content authenticity score and a direction for the coming months.

What we find in real audits

A few real findings from audits we have done. This is the level of detail you get throughout the document.

  1. A hidden H1 that Google cannot see.

The H1 on the home page was hidden by a CSS class. Semantically it existed, but for SEO it did not work as the main heading of the page. The programmatic HTML score was 25 out of 100. Google treats H1 as one of the most important signals, so a hidden heading quietly holds the rankings back.

  2. A boilerplate llms.txt that stops AI from citing the site.

The site had an llms.txt file, but it was an automatic platform template pointing to an external service instead of information about the brand. The result: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI get no information about the business and do not cite it. The audit gave the exact fix: write a real llms.txt with the brand story and the product specifications.

  3. Incomplete schema.org that loses rich snippets.

The site was missing the AggregateRating, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList types. Pages with structured data get up to 30 percent more clicks, so this is traffic lost outright.

  4. A neutral CTA that prompts no action.

The main button was neutral, with no urgency and no benefit. A clear, single primary CTA can lift conversion meaningfully, so the audit proposed concrete variants to test.

  5. AI search readiness at 25 out of 100.

The site was not ready for AI search. As more and more people search through ChatGPT and Perplexity, that is a real audience lost in 2026. The audit gave a clear list of what to fix.

Every one of these findings has an exact fix. Often fixing one critical thing is enough for the audit to pay for itself.

What a website audit costs

In Lithuania one-off website and SEO audits cost roughly 200 to 1000 euros, and most of them cover SEO only.

Why that is a low price for this much information:

  • An analysis like this takes a specialist hours upon hours, and you get it finished and ordered by priority.
  • You get six areas rather than one, including AI search, which most of the market still does not check.
  • One critical fix, a hidden H1 or a boilerplate llms.txt for example, often pays the audit back within the first month.
  • The alternative is more expensive: paying for months of advertising that leads to a site which does not sell to its visitors.

How the scores are calculated

The overall score is a weighted average of the five areas:

  • SEO25 %
  • CRO25 %
  • UX20 %
  • Trust15 %
  • Forms15 %

What the scores mean:

  • 90 to 100exceptional
  • 75 to 89good
  • 55 to 74average
  • 40 to 54weak
  • 0 to 39critical

The speed standards follow the official Google Core Web Vitals thresholds (LCP, INP, CLS). Data sources: speed from Google PageSpeed Insights, SSL from a direct certificate check, AI readiness from robots.txt, llms.txt and HTML analysis, and SEO, UX and CRO from direct page analysis and expert judgement. The speed, SSL and AI readiness data are measured facts.

If you need all three

For the full picture you can order the website audit and both ad audits. Together they show the whole path: whether people find you, whether the ads bring the right people, and whether the site turns them into customers. We agree the price of the bundle individually.
